Mike, you said "poke a monkey with a stick. I only wrote two responses to citizen. First to poke, second to clarify the major misstatements. And then I posted three quotes for posterity, but to be honest, I didn't actually even read them, I just saw enough to see that I was being compares to the most prominent socialist leaders of the 20th century, and that was too priceless to let be edited. I thought it ironic that posters who shall go nameless when searching for evil came up with a list of the socialists of greatest influence, without any sense of irony from an avowed socialist. Self defined evil? Anyway, mine was a merciless provocation towards self distruction that involved almost no time effort on my part.
As for my "oh another racist thread" I do that all the time, just like I say "oh another personal attack thread." It's my peanut gallery comment to try to make everyone realize that they're doing it. Also ironically, it is Chrisisall, a person with whom I've had not real serious disagreements, that I have snarked in such a manner more than anyone else, but he hasn't done the personal attack thing in a while.
As for Auraptor, he should self destruct with a tweak, if he doesn't, then more power to him. He does waste lots of time posting. My point, so do you, so yes. And for the record, I've already invested more time in writing this response to you than I did in taking down a certain socialist, which was long overdue, and never would have happened if he hadn't accused people of racism and then started spewing it, and defending doing so. The hypocrisy was worthy of comment is all.
I'm not offended in general, but I do skeet shoot the absurd, and I'm learning the game. I recall another poster recent deserved a double barrel for defending a certain switchblade psychopath.
(extra irony points: the latter, accused of racism several times only gets in real trouble for defending a black man.)

The Left will bring down this country faster than any IslamoTerrorist could dream.
It is not those who use the term "Islamo-Fascism" who are sullying the name of Islam; it is the Islamo-Fascists. - Dennis Prager
A concern of the GOP is that the people aren't informed enough to understand their policies, while a fear of the Dems is that the people ARE.

Feel better?

Ask serious questions, and you'll get serious answers.

Then you've utterly wasted the last 8 years chasing after ghosts and bogeymen.
For the record, there are LOTS of things that will bring this country down faster than any terrorist. One of them is pandering to fearmongering about terrorists.

Quote:Okay, I guess I need to expand on my statement. And... hold on DT!.... I agree with you!
Sig, yes they are. Agenda is far more important to them than money. If they were about money they would follow a more popular course of action, because people watch what the agree with. Look online, without media oversight, people go to sites that agree with their perspective, it's why we're all here. Nowhere you on online do you find people supporting the MSM line, in fact, the term MSM has become derogatory. The real mainstream america is factionalized, but into dennis kuccinich, ron paul, silent majority, whatever, it's not the MSM line. maybe 1-2% of people take that as their prefered perspective. If the media wanted to make money, they'd tell people what they want to here. Yes, they do want to make money, so they tie up with advertisers, and they help push those advertisers agenda to sell more beer whatever, but that's just the deal they had to cut with the devil in order to exist without popular support. What the media is really about is the message. And that's why they're there. To broadcast that message to the most subdued gullible audience possible, and anything that's not whoring for cash or broadcasting the message is helping to subdue the populous to prepare for brainwashing. The media *is* the message.
IF the MSM was REALLY all about short-term profits, they'd show peeps what peeps want to see: Shows about real peeps. I think that's why show like Laverne&Shirley and Roseanne were so popular. That's why "Joe the Plumber" was such a phenom. People are starved for self-recognition.
But we look in the mirror of the MSM and see... shadows. Nothing like us. Cops and robbers, celebrities, gladiatorial pits called "reality TV", lawyers, doctors, war movies, splatter films, and the most mind-numbing of all: shows about "the supernatural".
It's a steady diet of mental junk food. What the MSM REALLY wants to do is put us to sleep. So we buy the crap thay hawk in between the soporific/ lowest-common-denominator crap which makes the other crap go down better. So we think that EVERYONE ELSE has it made, or deals with it better. So we don't recognize ourselves or recognize each other: Shit, we can ALL be individual heroes, right? So if our lives are stressful and unfulfilling and limited it must be OUR fault. Right?

It's the end of the world as we know it, and I feel fine.
