Doctroid poked me at 10 minutes to the alarm and asked "Is that your phone"? Why yes, it was! I replied "That has got to be M****".

It was.

Boss who never sleeps called at 5:20am to tell me that someone who was sick yesterday is still sick today, the loud one called in sick today as well, boss wouldn't be in until later, and the other RN has agreed to be in at 11:00am.

I'm so glad I didn't make it to the phone in time to talk in person.

(Gropes blindly for sugar and cream while mentally glaring at coffee pot to hurry up and brew already)

Well, off to work.

Oh dear Rose, would you like me to report them for torture and human rights violations? No-one should have to communicate before 6am! I'm serious! There should be a law!

I'm also fed up with work. Had a nasty letter from HR about missing a day and a half last week. I am expected to make every effort to attend even in the snow. Apparently driving for 3 hours and getting turned back by the police isn't every effort!

Rar, work. We should all quit and live together in a commune!

anyone mind if I sleep in the corner? Developing a banging headache, been ill enough to feel like shite for days but not enough to be off sick, particularly with server upgrades that feel like two steps forward one step back and I just want to sleep now.

Gah!!! I've just stayed behind after work for 3 hours to try to get a handle on the marking and have got through 6 out of my pile of 150ish! And they were all due back yesterday! DOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

oh yes the endless pile of grading.. for every one assignment you give you get back dozens.... and yet you have the same amount of time to grade it that they did to do it...
