Thanks MsA! The visit was good/bad (husband's mom is in rough shape - I will be traveling out there a few more times to help as I can) - the TRIP however (especially coming home) horrible - do NOT advise any travel during holidays as (for us anyway) delays, delays, rough weather, etc; and crowds, crowds, CROWDS make it awful.
So glad to be home!

OK panic for us... I never had a problem booking D*C rooms in January and now everything overflow and mains is sold out!! So I will keep calling for cancellation, but we had to book rooms in a hotel like 3 blocks away... DAMN:(

Oh yeah Marriott, Hyatt, Sheraton are all full

Luckily I found that Engie had booked a suite at the Marriott and then lucked into a room at the Hyatt so NV and I plus Rose and her friend Cara took the suite, but we decided not to be selfish and are asking if anyone wants to sleep on the couches and such... since everything booked up so early. Turns out the evil football people booked 10-20 rooms on one credit card and are holding huge blocks hostage...
