i vote teresa noreen actually. no idea who she is but seein the pic someone submitted in the first comment, she's kinda got the lara croft look.

megan fox just can't pull it off. she's too supermodel and no badass.

Some people just don't have certain characters in them to perform, but you don't know until they do a screen test. Vivien Leigh was not choosen for Scarlet O'hara after several women were tested for the part. Very fortunate for all they did not pick any of the others before she got her chance.

I would not have picked Bill Murray for the lead in "Razors Edge", but he did an excellent performance. One of his finest films except for "Groundhog Day".

I just don't think Summer's shoulders are broad enough to support the burden(s) of this role ...and I'm not talking metaphorically here

...other than that, I suspect there's enough talent in Summer's little finger to run around caves, kick bad guys in the head and shoot the monsters. Unless she's really desperate for the money, perhaps she should wait for something a bit more challenging (I'd say that both River and Cameron were much more challenging than Lara Croft).

Of course, the producers could decide to take the high road and decide that there was more to the character of Lara Croft than unfeasibly large boobs - but if they thought that way they wouldn't be dragging out another Tomb Raider (apt name) sequel.
