Taken's estimated weekend take is over $24 million. I'm happy for Liam Neeson becuase he ROCKS!

Neeson? He wants horses to continue to be allowed to work in Manhattan.
Just another 'animal rights' nut is all.

I have nothing against the movie or any of its actors, but if I see another commercial for this movie, I'm going to scream! ENOUGH, already!!!

I just hope its success doesn't make the studios think they always have to overdo it like this.

Hang on a minute, aren't we constantly told that movie piracy is killing the industry and here's a film that has been on DVD over here for months and therefore pixel perfect copies circulating online and yet it still tops the box office? Despite being shit?

Ho hum.

I just saw the preview on hulu. This is a pretty tired idea. Luc Besson dips into fear mongering. I don't know. I'm disappointed already. He used to make us question the msm outlook on life, this one looks completely in line with it. Comments?

Last one I saw was Transporter, unless I saw the sequel. I haven't seen a lot of movies lately. Largely it's been because of a lot of this. Same story, same perspective, yawn. Transporter was good though. Ironically, I think the weakest one that I've seen was 5th element. Fortunately, there was Milla, who is always fun to watch, and Bruce. For people who like historical and haven't seen, I recommend the Messenger.
