We Are Losing Our Edge
Apparently, the absentee operator of TVTally showed up last week to do some site maintenance. Several things have changed. First, the cookie monster has been tamed somewhat. By using a browser with cookies turned off, you can now only vote three times for one show every six hours, not six times. Second, the message boards have disappeared. This was the only way, in theory, for the site admin and users to communicate (no one ever responds when tvtally@gmail.com is used). Now it's all gone (and I posted the last message, last November, I hope that wasn't the cause). There may have been a third fix, that's the one that began two weeks ago, where tvtally weekly numbers have not rolled over to zero. But instead what showed up was larger numbers, with Jericho in the lead. Many other shows got numbers other than zero. This Monday we'll see if this is fixed. Man, talk about living on the rim. I wonder if the site admin is a reaver?

Overall the total vote at the beginning of the week is Jericho 43919 (43475 last week), Firefly 41565 (40997 last week) We are 2354 behind, versus 2478 a week ago. A year ago, we were ahead. Over the last few weeks, we have been closing the gap.
If you turn off cookies on your browser, when you go to TVTally, you can vote up to three (used to be six) times (and for one show). You can also vote more than once in six hours (unpredictable, tends to happen early in the day, and after 6 PM). Some consider this cheating, some don't. Either you're a cookie monster, or you ain't.
