And that is what really annoys me. How can you tell what a person is going to be like in the role BEFORE they have started?
He could be brilliant but some people just aren't going to give him the chance to prove himself.

* David Tennant
* Summer Glau (River, in "Shindig")
* James "Spike" Marsters (for helping Joss introduce the word "wanker" to the USA).
* Mark Sheppard... (yes, he is British, but how about that Arielon (?) accent in Galactica?)
* Michelle Ryan (Highlight: a Brit pretending to be an American pretending to be a Brit in one 'Bionic Woman' episode).
* Billie Piper (actually speaks more like Sally in "Ruby in the Smoke" than Rose)
* Philip Glenister (see above)
* Amanda Tapping (in Sanctuary - candidate for worst English accent by someone actually born in England)
* John Barrowman (for even pretending to be American off-set)
And the special "thank you for not trying to do the accent" award:
* Patrick "Jean-Luc" Stewart (France obviously annexed Yorkshire sometime in the 22nd century. Bet that messed up the cricket team...)
