Wow, was Sep Falls a made-for-tv? With that top 12 cast credits, I would have caught it in the cinema.
Anybody seen Lone Star? Chris Cooper and Matthew McCaunahy (sp?) at the same time they did A Tme to Kill together.
Quick and the Dead, assuming this is the Hackman/Harris/Stone flick with early Russell Crowe? Light just does not bend that way through a bullet hole, unless you also believe in JFK's Magic Bullet Theory - then anything is possible.

When L.A. Confidential came out, most did not know Russell Crowe except those of us who'd seen Q&D.
Sinise had annoyed me, but with Q&D I was able to enjoy his work more.

Didn't care much for Seraphim Falls myself. Though it's been over a year since I saw it, so I can't recall specifically why. Just didn't leave an impression, I guess.

I was rather fond of The Proposition, as someone else mentioned.

I will say it stars that Liam Neesan & Pierce Brosnan (spelling doesn't count after 3 beers, I heard it said), and it is an amazing movie.

Go for it. And if you don't believe me, look up a review, but don't read the spoiling-ness.

I've seen this. I came across it while I was in Spain a couple of years ago. Odd thing though I think it's gravitas was lost over the Spanish dub. I swear there were two voice actors doing all the speaking parts in the film, so at times it was totally confussing just who was speaking to whom... I seem to recall the parts in the snowy landscape were exceptional.

I've seen LONESTAR. It's quite simply FANTASTIC!!!! This film should have shaken the Oscar pillars!

Chris Cooper and Kris Kristopherson are sublime in it as is Elizabeth Peña, and the backdrop is beautifully filmed.

Just one of those wonderful tales that has you engaged all the way through!!

Landscapes didn't do much for me.... because they essentially shot it in my backyard. I see that terrain daily.
