I'm uncertain, but I think these two really kind of capture the Bond from the books. "Goldeneye" with Pierce and "License to Kill" with Timothy Dalton were both excellent, I thought, with Timthy really chanelling the dark side of Bond. I mean, what's the body count in that movie? And the people he kills, he really offs in a horrible fashion.
You'll notice no Roger Moore made the list. I'll stand by that.

I have to agree with you in all respects. Not a big Roger Moore fan as James. But did love him as THe Saint.
