Okay, why are some people's member numbers higher than others even though they joined long before the lower numbered member? Are we recycling numbers? Is it randomly generated numbers? Is Haken just messing with our heads?

For those people who don't have their #, it's in the URL. A fact I know because it's a little annoying because when you want to view a member profile, like to send a personal message, you can't just type in their username, it has to be their user number.
Edit:
Note: try not to use the 10/9/05 notation because some of the forum members are from europe, and some are from the US, so this will just get very confusing.
If you don't have anything else to go on in posting the final list, sort of user number, and then you can correct the inversions.
