HUGS Neko... well you know Tristans fiancee is visiting right now and he might be tied up... er busy...for a bit...giggle

nice antibiotics 2 of them in fact. Now I just need them to kick in:) Love my doc. She didn't even make me come i ( she knows me well enough to know I can self diagnose accurately) just called in the meds..

NV is doing better and is actually well enough to play Wii ... we've seriously been in the house for 7 straight days now.

I think there's been a new job within the last year, and I know for a fact he moved.

I survived my first day back after two weeks of vacation. Yay.
Monday starts the 12 hour shifts. Yay.

*pokes at Kel* Fibber! Faker! Ninjakitty's not the only one who lurks in the shadows and can menace you... Besides, I noticed that Laurelin's not mentioned (tho' I can guess that she's getting those in rl).

...and I'm back to the shrine today to serve more ozoni and new year's foods to the volunteers who work the front of the temple. (Got called back in and asked to help... they really grab anyone interested quickly it seems -- I've started attending a few months ago.) Guess it's a good thing that I like it there a lot.

Glad to hear both of you are doing better MsA.

I had my first experience with "fresh" coconuts. I was amazed at the size of the things, as someone had (to my untrained eye) hacked the shell away already and wrapped it in cling film.
Imagine my surprise when it turned out the little brown nut was still in there somewhere.
I did get more milk out of them than I've ever seen come out of one before, and was amazed at being able to scoop the meat out of the shell with a spoon.
They must be heavenly straight off the tree.

I stuck some coconut in a little jar of rum. It smells wonderful.

(Is there an emoticon for catching a whiff of something amazing?)
