Being Black in the Work Place
"They take my kindness for weakness. They take my silence for speechless.
They consider my uniqueness strange. They call my language slang.

I'm defiant if I separate. Yet, I'm fake if I assimilate.
So, constantly I am faced with work place hate. My character is constantly under attack.
Pride for my race makes me, "TOO BLACK". Yet, I can only be me. And, who am I you might ask? I am that Strong Black Person... Who stands on the backs of my ancestor’s?

Obama will have plenty of time to deal, or not, with the whole Israel/Palestine blood war when he takes over office in January 2009.

Which brings up a question - Where is the Prez at this moment? Why hasn't the all-seeing, all-knowing, all-powerful and immaculate W solved this situation by now? He had 8 years after all.
Anyway, this War has been going on for thousands of years and will probably go on for thousands more.

I saw a palestinian on tv yesterday asking why we favor Israel in this war. Well for me it is that reason about how the palestinian government has bombs in the neighborhoods and kill their own children and women. Coming from a society that treats their women and children well, I can not understand it and it makes my skin crawl.
I also support Baraq Obama. I think that he will be good for bringing civil peace in America between different people. George Bush already did the impossible nutty job anyway of helping Iraq gain freedom and become into a functioning democratic state so if Baraq pulls out it might be the right time anyway I think. Iraq has a good chance as any now of becoming a functioning state and in 50 years if it is a success, the region will a few countries that stability. And where there is stability terrorism doesn't flourish hopefully.
