being a hugemungous c.s.lewis fan and having ready the whole lion,witch and the wardrobe set,(6 or 7 books) as well as his "space trilogy" i really loved the first movie...
the second,i thought was,really good but left out some things from the book...
i liked "caspian"...it brought me back to the days where i imagined i was there right with them,while reading the book i mean...

I’ve read them all, and they are all great kids’ books. The books however are heavy on the allegory and thematic elements and light on everything else. The movies are right the opposite. Heavy one the story, dialogue and visual effects, but the allegory and theme are often secondary.
As for Prince Caspian, the movie, it ruled. Me and the girls saw it in the theater like 8 times. We laughed. We cried. Afterwards we went home and read the book, and then we’d go see the movies again. Now we long for the Voyage of the Dawn Treader.

Yeah, a long time, especially since Disney has backed out of financing the 3rd film in the series, and as of yet, no-one is steping up to replace them.
I've yet to see Caspian, but I can't believe how expensive the friggin thig was. It cost more to make than any 2 LOTR films, and over double the cost of the first couple Potter films. And it did worse at the boxoffice than TLTWATW. I don't really blame Disney for balking, since Dawn treader was projected to cost more than Caspian.
If a third one is made, they are going to have to scale back, a lot.
