Ever see the movie "Wizards"?

'Nuff said.

Oh, bugger! Now I have to wait for someone to wake up!

My name is Jewel, so it seemed to be the logical choice. Of course it doesn't hurt that the actress that plays Kaylee is also named Jewel

Static is my callsign with the Army. Before I went aviation, I was a communications geek. . .the radio guy. That's why they call me Static. As in white noise. . .as in the stuff you hear when I don't do my job right.

I probably just over-explained it.

Angel Dove is my boyfriend's nick-name for me.

ahhhh, isn't that sweet!

I guess it would suck if we broke up...hell, six years together, I'm not going anywhere.

Winterfell is an icy kingdom in my favorite fantasy series ever written.

(A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin)

I was able to relate to the characters from that kingdom the most out of any book series i've read thus far, so not only is it my screen name for this and many other message boards but I also named my Heavy Metal Band Winterfell as well. So.. I guess it's good advertising too.

The actual extended version I usually use is Sunnydale_Slayer730...An obvious homage to Buffy. People usually ask about the 730 though, so here's what it means. There are many references to it in Buffy (even on the digital clock in "Restless"!)...730 is is 2 years - 2 years from the first mention of it until when Buffy sacrifices herself instead of Dawn in "The Gift". The series could have ended there, but kept going; I use the 730 to remind myself that there's always hope out there for more Joss-y goodness.

***Never judge a book by its movie***

my name has inspiration in a few points...

-i like the play on words (or letters, in this case.)

-i like the mystery of the kgb, and the word cagey also reminds me of mystery....some advice i got from my mom when i was younger "always keep them wanting more, always be a mystery"

-i actually saw this on a tv show i was watching when i was young with my dad in the wee hours of the night once. i forget the show, as my dad and i were night owls and often found watching infomercials or obscure tv at 2am. so, its also somewhat an homage to my young days, hanging with my dad, watching more ron popeil than any human safely should.

me

~Mal- "how drunk was i last night?"
~Jayne- "i don't know. i passed out."

Shssay was the name of a character in one of the stories I wrote in highschool. Then I used the name for a character in a play-by-post fantasy game named Alleria. A lot of the friends I had on the on-line community only knew me by that name, so it became my alias for everything on the net. Now its like a second name.^^

My name is taken from a card of a Borg drone from the Star Trek Customizable Card Game by Decipher. If you saw Star Trek: First Contact, it's the drone that assimilates the crewman Picard shoots seconds later to spare him the fate as a Borg drone.

The message boards at Decipher.com were the first I registered to and I didn't feel like changing alias for each and every message board I visit, so it stuck.
