I have gone one better - this time i am taking three things - 1, the abilty to change the seating plan so i'm not stuck next to people i don't like, 2, the ability to drink alcohol, 3, my boyfriend.
I think i'll survive.
I think i was having a moment of feeling sorry for myself yesterday - i didn't mention the other dream i had recently. I was in a room filled with coloured bubbles and if you ate one of them you could make noices like snatches from pop songs or ringing bells or whatever. Like harry potters every flavour bean crossed with this bubble shooter game that im addicted to.
Thene there was the one where we had a pet chicken and i was knitting it some trousers. The one where...

Chicken Trousers. That's the name of a PBS pre-school program if I ever heard one.

I would so watch that show. So I have become a little bit addicted to watching childrens programs. Even when I'm not at day care.
Except for Barney. Those movies should be made illegal.
Ooh happy news, only 9 more days until DHSAB!

I'm mostly ok with Barney. Sure it's just a hair too cute and for a while there terribly omnipresent but it has nothing on the distilled evil that is Telletubbies. A show created by people who don't think television is repetitive enough. I'd repeat that for emphasis but then I'd be playing into their evil, evil plans. Also, Baby Sun? Cree pee. I've got a mad love on for Theodore the Tugboat. "He's a tugboat and a friendly tugboat too. He likes to do the things that friendly tugboats do." Which always had me wondering what the surly tugboats liked to do that was different. Oh how I miss CBC.

I have to confess to a love of Harry and His Bucket Full of Dinosaurs - I can, and often do, sing that theme tune for days. And Charlie and Lola is just FANTASTIC. I don't know if you get either of those over there.
If you want the next level of Childrens TV Evil, check out 'In the Night Garden'. It commits all the crimes of Teletubbies, but adds in farting, Badly Dubbed Birds, a family of footie coloured Chavs constantly out on the rob with a penchant for knickers, and a whole bunch of characters called Iggle Piggle and minky manky moo or something, that look like they were designed by someone on an acid tab and blue smarties bender in a house full of voodoo dolls.
*shudders*

They do both look fairly ok. I'm sure I do in theory get both of those shows but their in a weird range in the middle of the 10000 ir so channels available on satelite so I've never really come across them before. The people who designed the C&L website are obnoxious though. Lots of huge load time flash always annoys me.

A kids show about underwear thieves? That is more than mildly disturbing.

I need a favor. please.
I need everyone who resides here in the lovely hidey tower to think sleepy thoughts for me.
Then send those thoughts my way so maybe I can finally kill the insomnia.
Why?
Cause being a zombie... not as much fun as it looks.
