I could but I do not find petaline to be the least bit interesting,she was an extremely minor character for one episode that was my least favorite.
As far as Saffron. I love the villianess and currently do write her,elsewhere but like anything I do not see Saffron as a longterm story character. She's good for villian plots then what?
No like I said I usually write Inara,its who I am most comfortable with and with whom I do the best job.

Hi! I posted on this thread a while back under a different name. I'm still interested in joining, I only have one question: what's your policy on original (as in new, fresh, and minty) characters?
I'm asking since I'm not too sure about picking up one of Joss & Co's parts (I guess my reverence for their work is simply too immense).

That's all right. :) We actually really like original characters since they add a lot of creativity to the verse.
