Here are some of my fav Christmas films:
Aside from It's A Wonderful Life.
1. Holiday Inn (I love old fashioned classics)
2. Christmas Vacation (Chevy Chase in the sled scene has me in stitches every time).
3. Jingle All the Way (Stupid funny!)
4. Meet John Doe (Gary Cooper)
5. Home Alone
6. Nightmare Before Christmas

Here's my top six!
1. "Scrooged" Bill Murrary in the perfect update of "A Christmas Carol".
2. "A Christmas Story". "You'll shoot your eye out kid!"
3. "The Ref." Denis Leary holds Kevin Spacey and his family hostage. Big Mistake!!!
4. "How the Grinch Stole Christmas". The animated version, not the Jim Carey movie!
5. "The Muppet Christmas Carol". Michael Caine and Kermit in the same film! Two powerhouse actors sharing screen time. Just amazing! 
6. "Die Hard". The original, not any of the crappy sequels.
I'd given some thought to movin' off the edge -- not an ideal location -- thinkin' a place in the middle.

1. A Christmas Story - Still enjoyable in such a sweet, innocent way.
2. Bad Santa - Purely for the cynic in me even though it goes sappy towards the end.
3. Futurama - Not films but I thoroughly enjoy the X-mas episodes.

Miracle on 34th Street. Both versions are good, but I actually prefer the remake with Mara Wilson.
It's a Wonderful Life.
There are others, but those I watch every Xmas season, without fail.

3. The Nightmare Before Christmas (I always feel weird describing it as an Xmas movie. It's more of a hyb rid Halloween/Xmas movie)
As for Xmas episodes of different series, I have to admit that one of my recent favorite eps was the Christmas episode of CORNER GAS. The whole plotline of them doing a gift drive for a supposedly poor family, and then finding out that they're just waiting for Boxing Day for the good deals rings so true to me since my Mom is the cheapest gift buyer for Xmas and gets more excited for Boxing Day. Any kid who grew up on the prairies during the holidays knows how accurate this plot is.
