I remember you bringing this up before. I always felt Skakespeare was timeless and could be performed in any style the producer / director wanted. It is nice to see it as it originally was performed, but most of his stories deal with the nature of hunanity and that has not changed. We have West Side Story. That worked out well. Of course some of the directors we have today would want things exploding with bright flashes. And please none of that 300 Spartans computer enhancement. One seven foot tall Xerxes was more then enough for me.
