These are all on equal ground for me, so any one can qualify as my favorite depending on the day questioned.
Scott Biao(sp?) dated her so I have to say no. And you are right--She was (and is still) smoking. (Josie Davis, the other sister also grew up well.)
Wasn't into St. Elsewhere all that much, but liked Fall Guy and loved Blues.
I think if you were to pick a show that personified the 80's, I have to agree with Oppyh and our esteemed threadstarter and say Miami Vice.

Don't worry I'm not afraid to admit I was alive then (though I was a mere child).
For me it's a toss-up between Night Court and L.A. Law.
BTW My mom's fav was Quantum Leap (She had a thing for Scott Bakula). she would never forgive me if I didn't mention it.

I watched gobs of Tv in the early 80's. To much.
I'll go with Eischied, Stingray, Magnum PI, Fridays.
I wanted to like Fall guy, as a Lee Majors fan. But Doug Barr, or his character, just dragged. Heather Thomas was fine. Would rather watch reruns of Six Million Dollar Man, or Big Valley (which I do).

It wouldn't be Thursdays without MAGNUM, PI. Oh, Tom Selleck and his moustache! I also loved Higgins in all his stuffiness. And yes Higgins was Robin Masters.
And of course HILL STREET BLUES and ST. ELSEWHERE.
Speaking of St. Elsewhere, what other show would let Howie Mandel play a doctor, give Mark Harmon AIDS and end up as a fantasy of an autistic boy?

Television is ephemeral, so the greatest compliment any TV show can receive is to be remembered.
It's clear that a lot of people fondly remember a half hour comedy series that ran on the ABC network from 1986 to 1988 called "Sledge Hammer!"
This is the show that popped into my head as soon as I saw this thread. Some of my favorite moments...
Hammer blows up an entire building in order to take down a sniper on the roof.
Hammer takes target practice inside his apartment.
Hammer tries to disarm a nuke and fails. In the aftermath we hear his captain's famous cry, "HAAAMMMMER!".
Another show I have to mention is Married with Children. Even though it went well into the nineties the early seasons were brilliant.

I didn't get to watch much television in the 1980s because I was in the Army then, but I did like Magnum PI.
