I was the Presiding Judge for my precinct. Amongst my other duties was making sure the "True Believers" (advocates for one position/person or another) kept at least 100' from the door & 10' from anyone standing in line (if the line extended more than 100' from the door (which it did for a while)). We had local press & "Official Observers" & a couple of people that I suspect were sent in just to see if we'd handle them properly.

My grandmother died last Tuesday, and although we were told it's just a matter of time when she'll pass away, it was still very hard to deal with her death.

Where Have All The Angelites Gone (they still gone, just curious)

At weekinwhedon, we are behind 2685 now, with 45 votes for us versus 5 for the Angelites in the last 24 hours. Back on September 1st, we were 1155 behind. On October 1st, we were 990 behind (with Angel at 24400 and us 23410).

And even if the Spongesters are eating cookies, they probably have about the same number of voters as we do. Judging from the way the standings move around, the cookie eaters appear to spread their votes around, and they have only twice as many votes as the Purists.

The TvTally is starting to damage my calm, but I'll keep on voting.

A bit of a late #2, because I went to Srebrenik fortress with my sister and my cousins. We had a wonderful time, took a lot of photos, and we are already planing on going again. I'll post some photos tomorrow if anyone is interested. :)

I'm just fascinated by the fortresses and castles, and to have one so close to my hometown is great.

The Balkans sure has an abundance of fortresses and castles. I guess that's what becomes of being in the middle of a rough neighborhood (Romans, Greeks, Turks, Germans and anyone else just passing through on their way to somewhere else.)
