Would you rather go to a shindig with Inara or join Mal for a lengthy drinking session in an Alliance-unfriendly bar?

This close to the holidays...definitely the Mal/drinking/hostile-bar thing (I'd honestly rather have a lengthy drinking session with Inara, but hey - I'll play by the rules).

Tough call. I have always liked the budding dynamic between those two that never really got off the ground. In the end though, I'd rather talk guns and ladies with Jayne.

This is a toughie too - cause I think of Kaylee when she was bumping "uglies" with the "genius" mechanic in OoG (Engines make her HOT) indeed!
But....I loves me some River, I think it's that whole she needs protecting thing Mal talks about in OMR. I kinda feel that way about River, but the clincher for me was OiS especially after her speech about going with Early. Sigh! It makes me wanna watch it right now.

I almost forgot my would you rather.....
Would you rather go with Zoe on "job" to get some cashy-money or take over the helm from Wash, do some fancy flyin' (Crazy Ivan anyone?) in hopes that she'll drag you off and say "I need this man to rip my clothes off?"

For the sake of the rest of the crew and the viewing audience, I'll take the miraculous return. I'm sure Wash and I are about on a par piloting-wise

That would depend on the tools and the range I had with the Reaver. If I was 500 yards out with my Remington 700 BDL in 7mm Mag, no worries, if I was In the same room with my Mossberg Defender in 12 gauge or in a pinch, my Colt Delta in 10mm, also no worries. I might even say OK if I could bring my Cavalry Saber, however if it was one on one with nail files .....

Wow...you put a lot more thought (and ordinance) into your answer than I put into the question...
I would rather stay home and watch Boston Legal than run into Startroop in a dark alley...just in case anybody asks that question...
