... we had THREE television series from Joss Whedon.
The day after tomorrow we have NONE!
Amazing how things can change so damned quickly.
Honestly, tho... I get the feeling Joss is finished with TV for awhile. It is a grueling medium.
After a one or two month shoot on Serenity, Joss is back home with the family raising a kid and writing Astonishing X-Men. Sounds kinda like a vacation, doesn't it?

I think Joss will take some time "off" for a while, then jump right back in, maybe something like an evil postal office in the middle of Jerusalem in Christmas Season.

I feel your pain Hjermsted. At least I have Firefly on DVD, and can catch Angel & Buffy reruns on cable.
I do think that Joss is done w/ TV, at least until his contract w/ Fox expires. It is obvious from his recent experiences w/ the WB & Fox that he has been left w/ a bad taste in his mouth for TV execs & how they treat his shows. His recent comments in the Entertainment interview only confirm this suspicion. I think he will work on the FF movie, and any sequels Universal will back, his writing for the X Men comic, and spend some time w/ the family.
