I've just lucked onto the exact same olive green German army jacket that Jayne wears in the series "Serenity" pilot episode (when they visit Badger and just afterwards.) The jacket in the show has a single, shield-shaped patch on the left upper sleeve.

Can anyone identify the patch or supply a clear image? Even if I can't find one ready-made, I can copy and embroider one myself if I can just find a picture to go by.

Thanks.

This is mainly a test to see if im using the right type of image code. If you see a picture I got it right, if not words.

This is a Jayne hat, I can get them for around $20

I didn't see this on here (please forgive the personal pimpage here), buut I have jayne's tattoo, or rather my interpretation of the design based on fuzzy screenshots.

Not too far back I took on a project for Abbeyshots recreating jayne's tattoo design for their Cunning Hoodie Project ( http://abbyshot.blogspot.com/2008/07/get-ready-jayne-hoodie-is-coming.
html
).

Being an obsessive costumer, I then couldnt resist getting these printed up

a better picture of it can be seen here http://www.texasartcat.com/bluesun.html

Sorry my arm is neither strong, masculine, muscular or tan, buut, you can get the idea :)

OK, stupid question. Is the bandolier 1 3/4" or 2" thick?

I'm having a hard time finding a parachute release assembly for the price I'm willing to pay right now, so I don't have a ref on the width.

Thanks!
