Not pictured: each has about a 2" brass tip at the bottom.
They're "standard" cane size at just under 36",
with the blades measuring just under 21" on one and 24" on the other. ^__^

I don't call it "random"... I call it "very obviously targeting the one who looks like a Troublemaker". XD

Domo... I found one of them at an antique flea market about 15 years ago. It was just sitting amongst other mundane canes.
I knew exactly what it was when I saw it, so I snatched it up and begged Mom to buy it for me.
The other came from eBay; the seller didn't realize that the cane opened, so no one else knew what it was or wanted it. ^^

Bwahaha!!! Take that, Easterner!
It's better today, so don't worry....

Doubtful. Most likely on-going failure analysis.

(From previous post) Yeah, there's pretty much no way I'm going to tell you about it, but here's a vague summary:
Product Awesome contains Part A and Part B.
Part A (HK) works just fine and is continuing through the scheduled testing.
Part B (Them) had about 8 unique failures within the first hour of testing. Tremendous FAIL, yus.

So everyone else is in a panic because it seems as though the timeline is the most important thing when it comes to medical devices. <---((sarcasm))
The unwritten Management Mantra:
"Hurry hurry hurry! We always have time to re-do it three or four times, instead of taking the time to do it right in the first place!"
((shrug))

Other'n that... Dunno. I recently learned how to crochet.
Now I have a 12-foot long piece of red, single row crochet. XD
I think it may be a scarf one day, if I don't suddenly lose interest. (high percentage occurrence)

How about you? Have you pencilled "fun" into your schedule?

......((awfully wordy))

(is picturing a little Sneaky One cradling her prize in her arms as she pours on the pouty face to her Momz. Then, when victory is obtained does a Sneaky Twirl like the Manga Characters do all cute like)

What? Its my imagination and that is what it sees!

Yeah I figured as much. Can't imagine all the stuff you prolly had to sign just to work where you do. But the summary was informative. Did you ever think to lend a hand (since your part worked) and show them how its done properly?

Sure did! Oh wait, nope. It is only Weds. I don't think fun is allowed on Weds.

hey Kel, HK,

either of you have one of those days where you would quite happily wipe out 60% of the worlds population if you could just be bothered?

((snerk)) No. I never read manga back then, so no cute twirl. Conversation probably went something along the lines of (HK)"Maaaaaa! Can you buy me this??? Pleeeeeease???" (Ma)"Why? What is it?" (HK)"It's a cane of steely awesome!" (Ma, looking at $10 price tag)"Okay, fine." (HK, glee!). XD

((tries to comprehend that question))
No, I guess not. But it's not really Them's fault. Management won't allow us to do design properly, so every time there's an unexpected problem, they insist on the fastest "fix" and then demand that we go straight into this testing again, instead of evaluating the "fix". If we had the proper time and resources to do what we needed to do, I don't think Them's part of the project would have failed...... well..... at least, not as tremendously. XD
