Better late than never. This from the CSTS Philly 2008 event coordinator:
I just wanted to remind everyone that the Philadelphia Can't Stop the Serenity screening is just less than a week away. (Saturday, 9/27/08 from 7-11 pm.)
Thank you to everyone who's already preordered. Your orders have been processed, and tickets will be waiting for you in your name at the preordered tickets table.
If you haven't already done so, I suggest preordering your ticket. Tickets will be available for $10 on the website, http://cstsphilly.webs.com/, until midnight Friday evening. After that, they will be $15 at the door.
It's going to be one shiny shindig! Everything is coming together nicely. A few very special guests have generously donated their time. Musicians Sean Faust & St. James will be performing some Serenity/Firefly inspired tunes, and Devi'ance will be performing tribal fusion belly dance for us. I'm really looking forward to both performances.
We'll have some great looking, very affordable commemorative t-shirts and browncoat wristbands on sale, both designed specifically for our event. I love them, and I think you will too!
We've been getting in a bunch of cool prizes from our sponsors like Serenity bank heist money, an autographed Bedlam Bards cd, a grenade*, so be sure to enter the raffle or one of the contests at the event.
