A very long time ago someone on the real world discussions became upset with us heathens and we decided as a defiant gesture to create the forsaken ( ok that kind of over simplifies a lot but general gist and all)
HUSG Kelkhil... ok maybe you should do it then :) Everyone likes you:)

Light the pyre, get me some beers, and hide the rum. I have a sacrafice for the flame. Stupid suspended tech basically quit stating "I can't afford the three day suspension so I got a job at the local pawn shop. oh, I can't work this weekend because of it."
Hmm. Whose fault is that? And who suffers because of it?
If I were more evil I might just eat her soul.
(Turns on the flamey skull and moshes around the Pyre)

Ah, but does he pee inside? I wouldn't mind my cat resting on my head, and I would also be more tolerant about his obsessive need to chew on my hands and attack my gumboots, if only he didn't spray inside the house. Why by the way is the cat on your head? is it the favoured resting place?

They all use the litter box to pee in, but one of them tends to bring his poop out of it. I really really really dont like cats......so I have 3!
I sit in a recliner at night when I am working and he jumps on the back. At some point he falls asleep and sort of slides onto my head, well because I have an injury and am wearing a neck brace I can't actually move out of his way.
fatging icehole!
LOL! When he does wake up he chews on my hair!

I used to have one that did that - he'd sleep above my head, and kind of SLLLLOOOOOWWWWWLLLLLLY wrap himself around my head, still asleep, until he'd end up with his nose stuck in my ear, just purring away, happy as could be.
My two current cats, Rodger and Peedie, don't really go much for sleeping on my head. Rodger, though, sleeps on my hip if I sleep on my side.
Both cats were foundlings - they found us, so we were obligated to take care of them. Rodger found us last Thanksgiving; it was cold (for Austin) and rainy, and I heard a cat crying outside, so I thought it must be Pete - until I realized he was asleep on my chest! I got up to go look, opened the front door, and this tiny little bag of bones took one look at me, another at the two dogs trying to check him out, and just hopped through the doorway and collapsed on the floor. He was well under a pound, tiny, maybe 4 weeks old, and you could see every bone in his malnourished body. I ran to find an open store, bought some Kitten Chow, made him a bed with a soup bowl and a cloth napkin, and he ate and fell asleep. He figured out the litter box after being shown it exactly ONCE.
I honestly didn't think he'd live out the day, but I told my wife if he was going to die, I was going to make sure he died in a better world than he'd lived in. We picked up some kitten milk the next day, and for two solid weeks he'd just eat, go poop, and go back to sleep. Finally, after a couple weeks, he started showing some interest in us, and started to play with the dogs and the other cat.
Now, he's almost a year old, healthy as a horse, has had all his shots and gotten neutered, and takes great joy in chasing the dogs all over the house! Oh, and he's up to 12 pounds now. And he loves his daddy - he follows me everywhere in the house, and his favoritest thing in the world is to be petted while eating. :)
I'll see about getting some pix up one of these days...
Mike

No hero here - I just can't turn away a stray in need of help. Out of all of my dogs and cats over the years, I've only ever picked out one of them: Daisy, my Black Lab. I went to pick out a puppy from a friend, and had this really sweet little puppy in my arms, having made my decision, but this other little black pup just wouldn't leave my alone. She was insistent, and when I stopped and looked her in the eyes, there was just a connection. She went home with me, and I had her for fourteen wonderful years. She was a puppy every single day of her life, until the very last day, when she got sick and I had to have her put to sleep. Broke my heart, it did.
Every other animal has found me. My wife says I'm a Doctor Doolittle, and have some weird connection with animals. When they need help, they find me, and I do everything I can. Most of them were abused or neglected, and I do my damnedest to spoil them as much as I can. I figure it's only fair and right, and I'm determined to show them that the shitty world they may have known isn't the way it's supposed to be, and I realize that we have a trust between us, and that the only thing they really want is to make us happy. A dog will do ANYTHING, including lay down its life, just to make you happy. Anyone who could abuse that trust isn't someone I'd ever want to know.
I'm spoiled by them, too. I got lucky - I found a job where one of my dogs, Jeepie (she's a Belgian Malinois, a medium-sized version of a German Shepherd), gets to go to work with me every day, where she gets to play with three other dogs. I have to say, on your worst day at work, when you're stressed and under pressure, going outside and playing "chase" with a dog can make it all seem like it's really going to be all right.
I *may* have saved these animals' lives, but I *know* they saved mine. I feel lucky and honored to have known any of them, but truly blessed to have known them all.
Mike
