woah, you sure do work fast. i got mine in the end of march and then spent the two weeks after that just watching it and not even thinking of letting it leave my sight.

Since then i've had plans for tons of people coming over to watch but they always fall through.

so i've converted one, and am in the middle of converting another as we 'speak'

I forgot about the kids.

Yesterday, when we were on the bus, my four year old suddenly began singing 'the hero of Canton'.

Later when I gave them each a treat my two year old shouted 'shiney'.

I think they can count as successful conversions.

Guess that means I can keep the coat.

OK, after we closed on the house and got some $$$, I bought 10 copies of the DVDs to give out as prezzies to folks.

Now I only have my original I bought back Dec 9th.

I have allowed my set to be borrowed 7 times by folks - not including the ones who got a set as a present. That would be double counting!

Soo, nuttin' plus nuttin' carry the nuttin' equals ...

Not sure how many were conversions and how many were discoveries- three converts for sure, maybe as many as eight.

Well, I am about to lend one disk of my Firefly boxset - anything more'd be idiocy, and see if he becomes coverted. After that, I've got a few lined up....

3 full-fledged converts and 4 additional fans since I started actively getting others in March (that being 7 for 7, btw). Seeing that my social circles have gotten smallish since the end of college, them's probably the best numbers I'm gettin', but I have a few others in mind.

two so far. But there are at least 6 more that I have plans to convert. My goal is to convert at least 50 by the time it hits the big screen (you have to consider the people you convert by proxy).

2 so far...but I have recently bought 5 sets of DVDs and I'm sending them to people for their birthdays...
I'm waiting on pins and needles for my Aunt Ida's reaction to her birthday gift, but I'm hoping it is a hit since my cousins are all going to be at her birthday party for a reunion (so maybe I'll get 20 in one go! knock on wood).

I've got 9 converts with 2 of those being real converts...the other 7 are just like "wow, that's a good show...where's the pizza?" while me and the true converted 2 can't shut up about the show
