I was wondering what y'all thought.
Of course Talk Like A Pirate Day is the 19th, but Capt. Reynolds birthday is on the 26th. Anyone think we should celebrate that day/evening with drinks via the 'net?

Gee I should warn you not to push it.... I did ( dislocated big toe joint and all other toes broken) and ended up hobbling myself for ages... I know it sucks

If you please a pint of your finest ale. We are celebrating them pulling the vent and feeding tube on my father three days ago. He's doing much better!
He needs to start swallowing without breathing in his water/applesauce/whatever or they're going to have to resort to the tube again so he gets something to burn while healing. He also can't really talk except at a low and almost inaudible whisper. Lip reading is a challenge.
Also: slackernurse pulled a no call/no show today. In theory the manager can can her can.

Piping the office full of Mozart this morning!
Done a little maths this morning on the principle that 10 hour days aren't doing me that much good, going home and failing to do maths, have deadlines coming up and not getting paid overtime so will deal with requests but sort working to contract if you see what I mean!
