But it is and he is proof.
Soon we'll be seeing Steamer on toast and Steamer shaped chips.
Holy poop. Steamer is Elvis. He was there when we arrived at the Hyatt and he was there when we left.
Steamer has left the building!

I'm sure HK was very distracting, only wish I could have seen the walking into walls
Steamer also showed up in a picture from the shindig taken by one of the guys next to me on the plane home. He was, surprisingly, the only one in the picture whom I recognized.
Okay, I have one more fangirl pic, and then I will start posting more of the wonderful people I spent time with

After this shot was taken, I just looked up at Alan and hugged him. He gave me a slightly shocked hug back and a thank you, and I ran away before the photographer could yell at me. (He liked to yell if anyone held up the line. I didn't like him very much.) I would have hugged Nathan, too, if I'd had time and been a little less giddy. Alan is very good to hug, just for the record
You may say I'm a dreamer. But I'm not the only one.

What a dick.
The photographer, not Alan.
I was looking at pics over at the D*C site and so far the only Browncoat pics I noticed were the ones from the parade. WTF? Is that what the con is about? All the marketing hype and BS fakery people put on because it looks good? Is Brown not in fashion this year? Didn't we make a loud enough voice for "them" this year? Should we strive to yell louder and longer than the other fandoms? Are we not pretty enough? Didn't we pay to see and be seen like the rest of them?
F*uck all that and those who think like them. Seems a few new projects may be in order for the remainder of the days until next D*C. I can think of two MSB and myself formulated just while travelling home. I challenge every one on the Whedon boards to make some noise and represent for one of the most awesome fandoms ever. If anything attend a shindig and rally behind the folks who already have projects in the works. Find likeminded people and leave open the door to our fandom. Expose new people to the awesome stories Whedon and share with them the awesomeness that is us.
Sorry for the rantage. Just want to let you all know that I appreciate very much the opportunity to share thoughts, feelings, and sometimes space with every one of you.

When you have hundreds of people in line waiting to get their picture taken and you have to get through all of them before the guests have to leave and the next one shows up... when your printers start to go wonky and you have hundreds more people nagging you to print the photo you just took five minutes ago... you might get a little grumpy, too, when people linger and take up all the other people's time. You let one fan talk to the guest for a minute or two, then multiply that by a couple thousand, and you'll never get done before the guests have to leave, and you'll have hundreds of very angry people who never got a chance.
I worked there for only 8 hours and I was ready to take a flame thrower to the crowd. So... just sayin'... you might want to understand the other guy's side before calling him a dick, yeah?

I am here! Now that you know where I am, you can keep track of me.

The elapsed twenty-three seconds in your immediate presence at D*C was delightful. Please forgive me if I seemed scatter-brained, because I was (more so than usual). Same time next year, I hope? *revereances*
I am starting in on 500+ pictures from D*C. Being that you are Ninja, I only got one picture of you. Well, not even.

With the Bedlam Bards, Hawke & Cedric,

The wonderful photo which Froggy took of me with the adorable Gareth David Lloyd
I met Kaylee! Jewel was as lovely as you could imagine! It was such a thrill to find her just as delightful as the character which first caused me to fall in love with Firefly!
And Morena, who is more exquisitely beautiful in real life than I can possibly convey!

Okay, I did teh math for fifteen seconds with 500 people and it added up to over two hours. My bad. Yes, I should probably see the other guys side first.
But a three second hug versus some dipshit chatting it up for a minute or two?
Maybe that flame thrower isn't such a bad idea.
Anyone else smell melted plastic and burnt Con food?
