If this was a chat site for multi-millionaires or politicians the answer would probably be almost everyone here. It's very common for the rich to buy multiple properties for investment purposes and have them managed by others. Real estate is just a part of a well diversified portfolio to them. How many of you know every stock in the mutual fund that makes up your 401k. It's hard for most to identify with the rich, but it has been proven in recent elections that trying to play class warfare doesn't work today like it might have 40 years ago. The American people have become much more educated about the economy in recent years and no longer believe that the rich owe them something. They are also aware that the rich pay the vast majority of taxes in the country already and taxing them further will just hurt economic growth. Lucky for the Republicans the Dem's haven't figured this out yet and still attempt to use class warfare to their own detriment.

Look to the power of anagrams to predict how this will affect women voters:

OBAMA BIDEN -->
BABE DOMAIN

Is that why they keep calling Obama "elitist"? Because they DON'T want to bring the whole "class thing" into it?

While I'm sure there are many rich that are "elitist", most are not. Obama just happens to be rich and elitist. The vast majority of elitists today are academic elitists like Obama. They look down on rich and poor alike. They surround themselves with people that agree with them on everything and so begin to believe they're always right. Even subjects they have no direct expertise in they just accept the conclusions of their fellow elites without question (global warming). I have a few academic elitists in my own family and it just amazes me that they would rather have their car fixed by some kid with a shiny diploma on the wall rather than mechanic with twenty years experience. They overvalue their own credentials and also those of others, while looking down on those without the "proper" credentials.
Running around the world proclaiming himself the messiah is what started Obama's drop in the polls and having Biden on the ticket will just add to the 'elitist" perception. Democrats and Republicans both hate 'elitists", but being an elitist and being rich aren't necessarily related.

The Republicans had a chance to show some class over the weekend, but they didn't. Instead of praising Biden as a worthy opponent and a great American, they just came out attacking him right from day one. I guess they had little "attack notes" prepared no matter who Obama would had chosen. The nature of the post-Convention campaign will no doubt go even more negative than we've already seen, but on "announcement" day it might have been a wiser move by Republicans to say some nice things about Biden, a man who deserves to have something nice said about him for 36 years of service as Senator. Wouldn't have killed them; plenty of time left to demonize him before November.

Lulz @ Biden....

Ya'all wanted change....?

Well the more I get to know this Obama guy, the more of the S.O.S. I see.

Good luck with that change thing. Let me know how it goes.

Right... the "Obama High Road" as Spike Lee likes to call it. (After he dissed Clint Eastwood and after Clint told him to shut his face he simply walked away taking the "Obama High Road" and somehow the initial instigator walks away with a halo).

Obama really is a forgiving guy when it suits his agenda to be.

I hate negative campaigning and I just tune it all out. McCain seems to be a pro at it sadly. I wouldn't expect any less from him though. He's part of the good ole Boys Club and he's got the platform that is suited for negative attacks.

Obama ain't above it though. He is (or his people are) just smart enough to realize that he's got a lot going against him even though he's doing as good as he is. He needs to remain calm and forgiving in these times and not go Howard Dean on anyone.

How soon after an angry tirade against attacks against his person do you think it would be that there were pictures likening him to this:

Yeah... Wow... did you see Obama attack a seventy year old white man yesterday? He's a megalomaniac King-Kong out to corrupt our white women.

If you were surprised that his desire to take away our guns wasn't enough to kill his chances in any of the heartland or the south, you can bet your ass this would ruin his chances.

Funny, but is sure seems to me that Obama pulled exactly what Bush43 did, in chosing an elder, well established white guy as his pick for VP. Biden was clearly chosen to shore up Obama's lack of foreign policy cred.

'Gravitas', is what the MSM called it.

Oh, did they LOVE that word!

But we've not heard it so much w/ Biden yet. I wonder why.

That's why Biden wrote an article for Wall Street Journal titled, "HOW I LEARNED TO LOVE THE NEW WORLD ORDER".

That's so cute, just like the title of Heinz Kissenger's Dr Strangelove, who destroyed the world.
