Except for the "family dinners" in the kitchen (which includes absolutely everyone), I can't think of a single time Wash and Inara have had a scene together.

Edit: Whoa! Liz and I posted at the same time.

No, I don't think that Inara and Jayne talked or even stayed in the same room much. Only when there was a meal or a meeting. Somehow, I don't think Inara was overly fond of Jayne.

This whole thing has got me thinking. I think I might go back and rewatch my Firefly DVDs to see who interacted with who.

Also, Zoe and Simon interact in the beginning of The Message, when Simon explains that - though it may surprise her - he's not very good at talking to girls. She actually puts her arm around him in a buddy-buddy kind of way there.

I think the making of the buddy buddy arm thing there was sorta to make it even more funny when she kicks in the punchline.

Wash's,"Oh it's hideous!" followed by,"Oh and there's something in a jar." Has to be the one line that always makes me make sure I'm not drinking anything when it comes up. I learned this lesson the hard way.

Simon and Zoe also had a fairly long discussion where Zoe explained why the ship was named Serenity, but it was in one of the deleted scenes. Does it still count?
