Ever see the show "Veterinarians in Practice"?
They have an assortment of cute animals come through their doors. It is another United Kingdom show transplanted over here via Public Broadcasting. I'm in love with the Norwegian. Love her accent. But there are like ten or twelve vets they follow. They pick three or four each episode and see how they deal with their patients.

Thats where I learned about cow stomachs. They really are a serious problem. Almost half the time a vet goes to a farm it is about a cows stomach having moved out of place. It must happen if they lay down to long.

This better then "All Creatures Great and Small", because it is real. You should see them put a splint on a hamster. Talk about inprovising.
