Yesterday, Firefly received 1,407 (1,538) votes, 131 fewer than the previous day. Pretty gorram shiny for a Sunday, Browncoats! Well done!
We will get our final banner, for 755,000 votes, in another 2,668 (4,075) votes, and 1.9 (2.65) days.
The missus and I put in 22 total votes on our IP, yesterday, including Bonanza, BSG, Buffy, Jericho, Angel, Babylon 5, Ponderosa, Dark Shadows, Blood Ties, all our friends with whom we share our success. We're on a sprint for the finish, Browncoats! Let's make sure the whole team gets across the finish line!
An estimated 2.19 (3.3) days remain to vote, based on current rates of voting. That figure may drop by more than a day with a resumption of weekday voting; expect the last day of voting to be Tuesday.
Dark Shadows is fighting hard to reach 150k, at .57 (1.74) days out, now TWO days ahead of schedule! DS is actually in a position to make one more pass, if they can sustain the pace, the last one of the Poll. However, with sustained intensified voting, they could still find themselves behind, again! Our friends the Barnabas Browncoats (DS voters) have made a HUGE contribution to Firefly. Assuming a modest 30 votes per day (which is just the numbers I know I can confirm), that's 900 votes per month, which, since we started working together in September, comes easily to around 10,000 votes. Without their help, we Browncoats wouldn't be where we are. Many thanks to those who are boosting our friends towards their goal!

#5 show Battlestar Galactica got 590 (603) votes, not receiving enough votes to pass #4 show Gunsmoke by the end of the Poll. They are 1,599 (2,189) votes, and 2.71 (3.63) days from getting a final banner, for 310,000 votes. They need 800 (730) votes/day to reach it.

#6 show Buffy the Vampire Slayer got 782 (758) votes, yesterday, not receiving enough votes to pass #5 show BSG by the end of the Poll. Buffy's numbers are still sufficient to hold off #7 show Farscape.

I'll handle it just like I did when a show entered the Top 40: Get the
day's data as usual and allow the voting to continue. If the total has
been reached, the vote will be stopped and the additional votes added
in. If the total has not been reached, the voting will go on until the
total is reached, the vote will be stopped and the additional votes

The final total count will be over 10 million.
Assuming Wednesday or Thursday, final totals will be posted, along
with various relative changes to the site, a little later than usual
on that day. If for some reason the 10 million count is reached
tomorrow (Tuesday, and I don't expect this), there will be a greater
delay because I have other business that will take most of my day
