EUReKA going commercial...... clever or irritating ?

As the new season unfolds, EUReKA has worked in a new corporate sponser both on and off the show.... Degree anti- perspirant for men. Some of the ads are the actual characters from the show pitching Degree product, so that you really can't tell if you're watching a commercial, or an ad IN THE SHOW.
Confused ? Pissed off ? Or is it kinda funny?
Thoughts?

New ones come on a 9pm (EST) , every Tuesday. They're playing previous episodes as a lead up to the new ones, at least they have the last 2 weeks.
Though not a main plot in the 2nd show this season, Henry's situation takes a surprising turn.

Normally I'm against corporate sponership but in the case of this particular show I think it's a good fit. It's not a stretch that top secret experimentation would eventually lead to commercial applications. The Zane commercial was clever. As you said I wasn't sure if it was actually part of the show. Forced me to backertize the DVR.
