Hillary??

Not looking to start a political debate here, but this just struck me when I watched Angel tonight. Is it just me or did anyone else get the impression that the 'senator from hell' was an allusion to Hillary Clinton? Watching the campain ad of her rival and her talk about getting into the White House in 2008, not to mention every other reference, was just to creepifying. Tell me I'm wrong. Anyway, just a thought.

I had the same thought, but was surprised to see this, as I really don't think Hillary is "evil", at least not compared to what we have now. But yes, one has to wonder - the age, the hair color, the statement about the 2008 election...

Hilary not as evil? That's like saying radioactive contamination isn't as lethal as biological contamination. Just a different flavor.

And, no. I do not like her. She probably hated Firefly...the shrew.

The similarities are too close to be coincidental. Besides, Hillary IS evil. She's a politician. Politician=evil. Has it ever been any other way?

The trouble with labels is they put blinders on you. Every time i think i know what somebodies politics are, i'm surprised.

Off hand, i'd say that Firefly appealed to libertarians and other ant-authoritarians. Other than that political axis, the variations are pretty awesome. I've seen some political 'discussions' where a poster identified the US with the Alliance, and such like.

But, i agree on Hilary. She is eevil! 8-)
