Anyway please! Want more Firefly/Serenity.

On Dr. Horrible, also maybe there will be money coming in from the songs being played on the radio too.

Awesome confirmation of our best hopes !

Not really, if you translate him to English, what he says is "I wouldn't mind, but nobody is going to pay for it"

Whedon has said it numerous times , in innumerable ways , he would do Firefly with SOCK PUPPETS if he had to...

And , I would pay to watch !

I'm surprised that we're still so tolerant of the sayers of 'nay'...

Should oughta kick 'em out the AIRLOCK !

In case Whedon's English ain't plain enough for ya , here's a dose of Nate Fillion , re: 'Horrible'...

" I think it can be said that Dr Horrible was a tremendous success. More than just an incredible project to enjoy, but a more than important view of entertainment to come. This is the future, everybody. This is a window into how things will be when the control is finally wrested from the moneyed claws of big business and placed, nay, returned to the caring hands of the creators. "

New Business Model = NEW FIREFLY !

bad horse still says neigh.

Joss pulled in favours to get Doctor horrible done on the cheap and there were few special effects and the show still came to cost in the "lower six figures" region.

Now Firefly requires a little more than what Doctor Horrible needed:

1. Actual studio/sets that are paid for.
2. Actual actors that are paid for.
3. Writers that are paid for.
4. Much more special effects that are paid for.
5. All that other stuff that I have no other idea.

It may work out cheaper than the original series did, but it would still be a high cost show.

The problem is money. Joss has pretty much said he does not see the money. He himself may be willing to do it with little financial profit for him, but what about the rest?

Joss can count on Nathan. Joss counted on him for Dr. Horrible.

Maybe the Parliament captures Mal and for two hours the Parliament agrues about what to do with Mal. Parliament turns out to be all of Joss' family and friends. There could be singing.

All the fans have to do is Step 1 from the list...

Form a Corporation , Purchase the land , and begin building infrastructure , Firefly-class Ship Set...

Folk would pay to visit , get their pictures made , etc.

Wouldn't hurt in attracting an Angel Investor (Jeff Bezos) , either...

If we build it , they will come...

That's the nature of effective leadership...

Begin with First things first...
