Ray - Excellent suggestions. I took a look at the data from 'back then'.
The ALL TIME HIGHEST RECORDS go like this:

Firefly Dec 12, '06 1,350
Xena WP Feb 18, '07 1,374
Xena breaks it's own record a few times, then
Firefly March 28, '07 1,791
Xena WP March 30, '07 2,803

Damn fine time to be alive...

And as I look at it, it made less & less sense...

Our Personal best day was March 30, 2007, which is the same day that Xena set the All Time Record.

All this time & the daily has been wrong.

Fixed now though.

A "Tone" question:

Should this announce a generic audience (as it does now), or should it be to 'fellow Browncoats' (words like We, Us, You, Your).
I know it's going to Browncoats, but it's being sent as a newswave (for now). Which would carry more weight?

ALWAYS appeal to Browncoat pride, VOMP!

Might also mention that this is gonna be the LAST stab we have at this, and make sure that you emphasize the voting up to once per hour thing. Some folks might just vote once, then be done with it. If we can entice 'em to come and vump with us, it'll keep 'em voting.
