I asked you a very specific question about your opinion of the movie; I wanted to know why you thought it was "mindblowing."

Okay, for the sake of MsB's calm not being disturbed I will now shift into Mom mode:

HK did not say the movie SUCKED, she just failed to find it "mind blowing". She may very well have enjoyed it quite a bit. Or not.

She inquired into what portions of it you found so amazingly amazing, as she apparently did not share the same opinion and was (pure conjecture here) probably wondering if she'd missed something sneaky.
There are very few movies I've ever walked out of saying "whoa.. AWESOME!", and the Batman franchise has not been one of them up to now.
I haven't seen it, and have taken to waiting until movies come out on DVD, so specifics might make me want to actually go into a theater and plonk down fifteen bucks. Otherwise I'll probably just give the awesomeness a miss.

Now everyone mind your language.

Haven't seen 'Dark Knight' yet - if can't persuade husband, will go see it with a friend of mine. We like to check out Christian Bale's, er, acting skills, yeah, that's it...

ps other film recommed - 'The Prestige'. (DVD, not recent release.) Christian Bale and Hugh Jackman. In tight trousers. The storyline is good, too.

I liked the Dark Knight as well FLT. But then again my favorite Stories from the comics were always the ones with the Joker showing how dark and truly evil he was and this movie depicted it very well.

hey all,

happy birthday Msb!

haven't seen dark knight yet but thoroughly enjoyed Wall.e which we saw this weekend, think dark knight is next.

It's far too hot today, fans going full tilt and it's still stifling, sat working on maths and wondering when the hell my toe is going to get operated on but focussing on the pile of maths which is kenda crazy to distract me.
