Mornin' stats BOMP!

Many thanks to those Big Damn Heroes who are adding votes for Ponderosa and Bonanza! Bonanza, in particular, was fallin' short of the totals they were gonna need to reach their goal of 500k; with your help, they've had a great boost, and stand to make their goal, if we keep this up. It's the neighborly thing to do to help 'em out, and all it costs is an additional click or two when you vote. It'll give us a little something extra to share in celebrating when the Poll ends. Xie-xie!

Also, Jericho has entered the Hall of Fame, today, and got the exclusive all-day banner (if you click on the Hall of Fame link at the top of the main voting page, you can see it with Morse code and music! You can also download banners (including Firefly) there, as well! Congratulations to our friends, the Jericho Rangers!

A little more than 3 weeks remain to vote, and Firefly is now 1 day AHEAD of schedule!

Our ultimate goal, 750,000, is 25,360 (26,617) votes, and 20.18 (17.55) days away! We need to maintain a daily average of 1,153 (1,210) votes for the balance of the Poll to stay on track. At this point, every vote we fail to cast is lost forever; we won't always have "tomorrow" to make it up!

Yesterday, Browncoats voted 1,257 (1,517) times, 260 fewer than the previous day. Not so shiny, though we're still on target. We're within 3 weeks of the end of the Poll, and, with the help of all our friends (now including the Bonanzais and Jericho Rangers), we need to keep the daily votes up!

We'll get our next banner, for 725,000 votes, in another 360 (1,617) votes, and .29 (1.07) days! Look for it, tomorrow!

7,973,880 (7,955,981) Top 40 votes have been counted as of 07/24/08. Yesterday, 17,899 (18,119) votes were cast.

Yesterday's votes dropped significantly for many shows; I have a theory that the delay in the morning while Moonlight was added to the roster may have thrown some people off who didn't return to voting, either until much later, or at all, yesterday. Hopefully, today's votes will be better, reflected in tomorrow's scores.

In other TV Vote news (shows whose voters also support Firefly and the Whedonverse, so, let's return the favor, shiny? We accomplish more together than we would separately!)...

#5 show Battlestar Galactica got 549 (679) votes, and, is currently receiving enough votes to overtake #4 show, Gunsmoke, which got 473 (489) votes, yesterday, in 149.22 (60.09) days.

The Colonials need urgent help, if they are to advance again before the Poll ends! Please lend 'em a hand!

#6 show Buffy the Vampire Slayer got 700 (746) votes, yesterday, not receiving enough votes to pass BSG by the end of the Poll. Buffy's numbers are still sufficient to hold off #7 show Farscape.

#9 show Angel got 661 (708) votes, yesterday, not receiving enough votes to pass Jericho by the end of the Poll. Angel's numbers are
