Anyone who has read my Fan fic's "Out to the Black" and my in Progress "Into The Blue" I need some help.

I'm trying to figure out a good actor who would fit my description of my OC Allan Bryant.

The first name that popped into my Head was Sam Elliot. But he's too skinny and a bit too old.

The next one that popped into my Head was Jeff Daniels. He's the same age as my character, Plays the guitar and can do a pretty good New England Accent (Gettysburg)

Any other ideas?

Two more came to mind tonight... Dennis Quaid or Mark Harmon

i think Harmon was a candidate for Mal's dad in another thread (?). Quaid's a cool choice.
