Hi all, I'm pretty new here- less than a week, actually. It seems like this is as good a place as any to introduce myself. I am totally obsessed with Firefly and Serenity, which honestly never happens to me - getting addicted to television, that is! I'm glad to see that I'm in such good company!

And Rose, the cunning hat has a story: right before I left on this trip, I had a lovely hat - a black angora cloche. Adorable. 2 minutes before I left the house, my cat peed in it. How do they know?? So I had no hat, and arrived in Scotland during a crazy snow storm. So on my first day, while I was touring a little town on the border I found a Goodwill and picked up this marvelous, Jayne-esque little number for about 3 pounds. And my ears became warm again. Sigh.
