Mornin' stats VOMP!

Firefly is still AHEAD of schedule!

Based on RL's announcement that he will end the Polls when the combined total votes between the Top 40 and the Nominations reaches 10 million (but no later than January 2, 2009), 46.61 (46.38) days remain to vote, based on current rates of voting (as with everything else in this Poll, this time will fluctuate).

Our ultimate goal, 750,000 votes, is 48,796 (49,963) votes, and 41.81 (40.46) days away! We're on-target, and need to maintain a daily average of 1,039 (1,063) votes to stay on track!

You have risen to the call, and done our shiny show proud, Browncoats. What does that make you? Big Damn Heroes!

Firefly has had the top daily score every day since Sunday, April 29, 2007, when Xena beat us by 160 votes, something no other show has accomplished EVER SINCE! We've been the #1 show in the Poll since August 17th, 2007, when we passed Xena! We had tremendous numbers, in those days, with daily totals in the 1,500s and up. Let's keep up the hard burn, show everyone our Browncoat Fan Power, and clinch this final milestone!

Yesterday, Xenites voted 459 (526) times, 67 fewer than the previous day.

(Xenites voted 708 (709) times fewer than Browncoats, yesterday.)

Firefly is 164,358 (163,650) votes ahead of Xena, more than the vote total of #18 show Lexx 162,477. That puts us at 10,642 (11,350) votes away from a 175,000 vote lead, about 15.03 (16.01) days, based on current voting.

We'll get our next banner, for 705,000 votes, in another 3,796 (4,963) votes and 3.25 (4.02) days!

7,679,624 (7,665,765) Top 40 votes have been counted as of 07/04/08. Yesterday, 13,859 (14,228) votes were cast. Our share of the voting pie remains at 9%.

Let's remember that the US Independence Day weekend starts today, which may (or may not) result in an alarming drop in voting totals. Just vote as best you can; things will likely get back to normal with the Monday vote. In fact, for those voters who aren't going off for the weekend, this could be a real opportunity to make some hay while the sun shines! Whatever you do, do it carefully, and come back safe.

In other TV Vote news (shows whose voters also support Firefly and the Whedonverse, so, let's return the favor, shiny? We accomplish more together than we would separately! Let's continue to support our friends! Browncoats never leave a friend behind!):

#5 show Battlestar Galactica got 549 (556) votes, and, is currently receiving enough votes to overtake #4 show, Gunsmoke, which got 443 (411) votes, yesterday, in 131.53 (96.88) days.

The Colonials need urgent help, if they are to advance again before the Poll ends! Thanks for lendin' 'em a hand!

#6 show Buffy the Vampire Slayer got 648 (673) votes, yesterday, not receiving enough votes to pass BSG by the end of the Poll. Buffy's numbers are still sufficient to hold off #7 show Farsca
