As a military wife, I appreciate your service, and all the support the Brown Coats are offering, even if you don't agree with the war, doesn't mean you cant' help make the lives of those over there a little easier with some Firefly :) Indeed you are a BDH.

Serenity: Better Days comics (Issue #1 Due Out in March 12 2008)

Did you realize the Serenity: Better Days Comic covers fit together to form one picture?

I ordered an extra Serenity Better Days for a co-worker's brother in Iraq. Have to put it in plastic with a white board.

Already sent him Firefly/Serenity CE/SLiTHER in other care packages his sister sent.

What do you think about Waitress? No comedy/romance even if Nathan is in it?. Or just go with White Noise: The Light with an note to be sure to watch the tour of the haunted mental asylum.

Lest we forget, there are female Soldiers, Sailors and Marines over there too. They may need a little Nathany goodness too!

Does anyone know of any DVD drive that needs donations? I've donated to a blogger thats on his third tour but I'd like to spread the goodness around.

And thank you for your service. I'm from eastern NC about 60 miles north of Camp Lejuene and east of Cherry Point MCAS so there's lots of support here.

When I was in Iraq , I watched Firefly and StarGate 1 until the DVD's wore out. I have since rebrought them. Both were a great escape from the dangers of boredom . Now I am home and still enjoy watching Firefly and Serenity.

I'll have to agree! I'm in Iraq now and was introduced to Firefly/Serenity while I was here. Honestly I've never heard of it before (not a big TV watcher). One of the guys I worked with told me about it. Firefly has been my main escape since I've been here.

Thank you for being there. My brother who has served in four tours in Iraq is home with his family in Tennessee right now. He is supposed to be here in Vermont late on Sunday, so I hope to see him then and maybe get him hooked on Firefly/Serenity sometime during his stay.

Oh yeah! My brother was converted to the 'verse when he was in Iraq (b/c he was in basic training when the show aired), then he converted me when he got home.

Keep wearing out those DVDs, 'k buddy!
