Firefly is back AHEAD of schedule!

Based on RL's announcement that he will end the Polls when the combined total votes between the Top 40 and the Nominations reaches 10 million (but no later than January 2, 2009), 53.84 (61.68) days remain to vote, based on current rates of voting (as with everything else in this Poll, this time will fluctuate).

Our ultimate goal, 750,000 votes, is 53,760 (54,973) votes, and 44.32 (62.54) days away! We're back on-target, and need to maintain a daily average of 996 (1,037) votes to stay on track!

You have risen to the call, and done our shiny show proud, Browncoats. What does that make you? Big Damn Heroes!

Firefly has had the top daily score every day since Sunday, April 29, 2007, when Xena beat us by 160 votes, something no other show has accomplished EVER SINCE! We've been the #1 show in the Poll since August 17th, 2007, when we passed Xena! We had tremendous numbers, in those days, with daily totals in the 1,500s and up. Let's keep up the hard burn, show everyone our Browncoat Fan Power, and clinch this final milestone!

Yesterday, Browncoats voted 1,213 (879) times, 334 more than the previous day. Outrageously shiny, especially for a slack Sunday's votes! I am so very proud of every one of my Browncoat brothers and sisters! Now, let's see what we can do during the week!

Yesterday, Xenites voted 454 (448) times, 6 more than the previous day.

(Xenites voted 759 (431) times fewer than Browncoats, yesterday.)

Firefly is 161,432 (160,673) votes ahead of Xena, more than the vote total of #19 show Ponderosa 159,099. That puts us at 13,568 (14,327) votes away from a 175,000 vote lead, about 17.88 (33.24) days, based on current voting.

We'll get our next banner, for 700,000 votes, in another 3,760 (4,973) votes, and 3.1 (5.66) days!

7,622,242 (7,608,910) Top 40 votes have been counted as of 06/30/08. Yesterday, 13,332 (11,776) votes were cast. Our share of the voting pie remains at 9%.

In other TV Vote news (shows whose voters also support Firefly and the Whedonverse, so, let's return the favor, shiny? We accomplish more together than we would separately! Let's continue to support our friends! Browncoats never leave a friend behind!):

#5 show Battlestar Galactica got 554 (479) votes, and, is currently receiving enough votes to overtake #4 show, Gunsmoke, which got 334 (341) votes, yesterday, in 66.2 (107.12) days.

The Colonials need consistent help, if they are to advance again before the Poll ends! Thanks for lendin' 'em a hand!

#6 show Buffy the Vampire Slayer got 623 (488) votes, yesterday, not receiving enough votes to pass BSG by the end of the Poll. Buffy's numbers are still sufficient to hold off # 7 show Farscape and #8 show Jericho.

#10 show Angel got 542 (428) votes, yesterday, and is on track to pass #9 show The X-Files, which got 370 (312) votes, in 7 (11.86) days.

#14 show Babylon 5 got 427 (325) votes, yesterday, and is on track to pass #13 show La Femme Nikita, which got 190 (192) votes, in 10.97 (21.33) days!
