Angel movies just a rumour?

An article on SCI FI Wire says that according to Joss, the movies aren't a given despite what the WB says.

Amy Acker (Fred/Illyria) is also quoted as saying she would be willing to return, and says that filming the last show was sad, but the ending should make everyone happy.

I think this is dissapointing, but I'm not really surprised that the WB is being misleading.

But I am excited for the finale (in an accepting its fate kinda way, not a happy it's over kind of way)

the term 'Angel' movie might end up being a misnomer...
James Marsters said (while in Europe last weekend) that he is in talks for a Spike Centric movie..
AND I've heard some hints about a possible Faith movie...

So just because David isn't interested (or isn't interested now) doesn't mean that there won't be something from the Buffyverse coming up next year
