oh btw MsB I picked up bread ingredients yesterday and I had to call in the big guns (mom). I was at the grocery store and I was like "ok yeast, yeast where's the yeast." Finally found it and there were like 3 different kinds. I was all "uh oh...this looks like a mom question".

How did guys ever do grocery shopping before cell phones? Just buy all three kinds?

Oh and also they had two kinds of crisco. Butter and all vegetable. I went veggie style. Will that work?

Yes exercise nut here... and no gym in Fallon ( ok there's one, but it's not that good and the other one is Curves and I'd shoot myself first. Plus I am more likely to work out if it's at home. I do yoga every day...still working on the weight loss thing so pizza is bad bad bad...We had it yesterday because we'd spent so much time laying sod I figured I'd burned enough calories to have it, but there was a lot of pizza left over and it calls to me

I'm just going to say, out of the blue, I love my new job-internship thing. Nothing like reading scripts and comic books in an air conditioned building with free milk for most of the day. and tomorrow I get to to do it again! Now if only I was getting paid instead of my paying the school, life would be perfect. But still, pretty awesome. and i have a bed, of sorts... or rather, it's a mysterious invention called a futon. But I still have to assemble it (pause for irony. ok, pause over.) and, despite my techie skills, i dont have a screwdriver which i will probably need. oh well at least i bought a mattress.

I have an Imponderable for all of you. Does it matter what time of day it is, in order to be having breakfast, or is it just the first meal of the day, no matter what time? Like, if you slept in really late, and didn't get around to eating until after noon, would it still be breakfast, or does it become lunch?

Well when I lived in the dorms, if I slept in I literally "missed breakfast" because breakfast was a set time and all that. But normally, nah breakfast is when you make it lol. I myself managed to wake up at 1:10pm today, and I still needs to go have mah breakfast.

And MSB, thank you for explaining, but it's an internship in long-form development for Cartoon Network, Development actually quite different than writers. And i'm not interning AS a writer. I clarify this only because that'd be incredibly even awesomer lol. But yeah, reading scripts and talking about them and all that goodness. And occassionally making copies and the like. Meh. Gotta do whatcha gotta do.

mmm no. ive made breakfast at noon before when i didnt feel like eating anything in the morning hours.

Most welcome breakfast I ever had was a very large portion of lasagne at about six in the morning - I'd taken the earliest train possible up the mountains (through the North face of the Eiger!) to the highest railway station in Europe.

Sorry about the FLT. I went to the Mine facility Saturday with MSB to shoot with (against) some folks from Reno. Yeah, I covered my corner. I shot at a 5oo percent ratio (possibly more due to non-confirmed kills). Sunday I shot with some friends on the Rez and kept about the same ratio. We've had some problems with the so called "Elite" in town. I mock the "Elite" because the guys the look down on have been mopping the floor with them lately. Stalker Paintball has invited all the Fallon people to wear their colors and play as their team but a few of the "Elite" copped litte bitch fits about my buds wearing their colors. We're pretty much forming another squad to wear the Stalker logo. We are NOT a "B" squad or a Jr Varsity sort of shit. We are a team and wil be recognized as so. Sick of the primadonna assholes pushing people out of such a great hobby.

Hmm FLT maybe you know some other people ( or could hunt for them) in your area. They might be able to loan you equiptment so you could play...I've noticed ,for the most part, paintballers are very generous with each other.

Videogame company. They make World Of Warcraft. You may know people who play it (like CK) or at least seen commercials for it. There's one with Mr. T talking about his night elf. Anyway Wrath of the Lich King is a new expansion for World of Warcraft. They announced that game last year. They're also the makers of the Diablo series of games though. This weekend they have an event going on and it just happens to be the weekend of the 9th anniversary of the release of Diablo 2. I'm hoping that plus this teasing plus some other hints mean that we're on the verge of a new Diablo game announcement! yay!

Now that you've heard way more than you ever wanted to hear about this I'm off to find some food. Until tomorrow and hopefully another teaser image! Farewell

Yay! There's an updated image today. Most definitely a rune from Diablo 2 can be seen. The rune is an item that you can find in the game. There's also a couple images that are sort of hidden but look like they're going to form a bigger picture at some point. Tis a Paintball Marker, not an airsoft FLT. the canister on the back is the propellent (normally CO2)

Zeek - Your ponderable had my head spinning for a few reads (after the 3rd time I followed it). Kinda a hard to form an unbiased opinion cuz it sounds like you have already decided that it is not worth it. I would say that the main factor woud be how much of a distance is involved? A couple hour drive? Might be worth it if that is the case. I dated a girl for 2 years while in the Army that lived 4+ hours away and I would drive to visit every weekend for the most part. Was a good relationship. No troubles besides me being stupid in the end, but that is another story!

I say go for it. Otherwise you will always question what the true outcome would have been.

400ish miles according to a rough google maps estimate. Almost 7 hour drive. Seems like the weekend would be really short if I was driving for 7 hours there and 7 hours back each time. Plus with the price of gas that would get to be pretty expensive.

Though you are right about that always thinking what if stuff. My brain already does that hehe.

That is my Smart Parts SP1. Incredible marker at an incredible price. ($149USD) It is a select fire electropnuematic marker that shoots 11 ball per second. There are two others in the picture. Can you find them?

Here's the hell bitch:

Smart Parts SP8 (Still unnamed). WIth only a few modifications it is pretty close to stock. One upgrade was the increase from 17 balls per second to an easy 26 balls per second with no hiccups. With a faster loader it can run unlimited (which actually tops out at 33/34 balls per second as the balls will actually touch eachother from being fired so fast).

Okay, as for the distance ponder. If she is worth thinking about Zeek than she is probably worth trying out. Weekends are a good way to get to know someone. No amount of smothering can happen until the next time y'all get together. It helps to ease into anything more serious later. Think of the occasional weekends as fun time without too much pressure.

ADD: FLT- As with my old Tippmann 98 having the tank attached and low is a lot like having a wide stock. On the 98 I put a slide on cap on the tank and I swear it felt exactly like the old M2 Thompson. I've switched to high pressure air in the smaller marhers and still use CO2 in the big ones as they use a ton of gas and CO2 is cheap.

Actually they are not bad. For thr most part they work pretty well as a stock. They also make units that have a hose and the canister is belted on to your person somewhere.

Zeek - 7 hours might be pushing it, but then again.... who knows maybe some day the drive will end up being 1 way.....

Once or twice just to see what if still might be worth it.

And Blizzard is still being a huge tease! Now they added an icon from another one of their games to their teaser image. So, basically they're just teasing us that something is going to be announced but they aren't giving away any real hints about what. I still say it's Diablo 3 though. Come on Saturday get here already.

Such an optimist. I'm not going to get too worked up about it. Though speaking of work if this does turn into too much of a back and forth I'm going to have to ween her off of my work email address.

aaaaw fanks msb ^_^ actually i was referring to something i saw on youtube that was very very sad and wrong, but i am also upset i will not be at D*C to meet everybody :-\

however, i totally plan on being there next year, because i will be a juniorish at the CONN and most of the schools within the CONN do not have class on fridays, so id have an extra day ^_^

I'm just signing off for the night here.

Boiled my brains at the screen most of the day.* But....kitchen is just about finished!! And I have a dishwasher. The novelty hasn't worn off yet - I'm still happily stacking and unstacking it. Plus - excellent excuse to go and buy new dishwasher proof kitchen stuff.

Virtual hugs for them as wants. I'm off to sleep now (couple of glasses of good but strong white wine kicking in...)

Tis a tough imponderable there, I've gotta say that, if you're interested, you may as well go for it, and maybe you can upend gas prices by ordering airplane tickets months and months in advance on some of them special deals. I dunno.

In other news.... that whole me-going-to-comic-con thing.... I'm pretty gorram excited now, because despite not being listed on the Comic Con site (yet), on the Doctorhorrible.net site, they say that Joss and his brothers and Nathan and the other actors on Dr Horrible are going to be doing... a panel... at comic con. So, I was unawares of this, but... now I'm excited. Not gonna lie. Tis exciting. Woo.

And... in lieu of books I sometimes read my women's studies textbook if i'm bored. Meh, I likes it. And as for "what guy would say that"... well, I would, I think men n' women should totally be friends, in addition/regardless of everyone's relationship status. Take that, "When Harry Met Sally!"

I really can't see it going anywhere. I'm risk averse. I doubt I'd buy plane tickets months and months in advance for a long distance thing with someone I've never even gone on a date with. Plus no response yet. Email is such a lame form of communication.

Cool on the comic con thing. I so want to see Joss in person some day. The man is just incredible. A while back I thought about how good Joss is at giving speeches and rallying crowds and I realized that this is the power they were saying Hitler had. My conclusion is that Joss was created as the anti-Hitler. He's using his powers for good.

Also I do have female friends. I don't have any problem with female friends. I just don't have female friends that I'm interested in. That would not work well for me. If I'm interested then I don't want to end up just being a friend.

There's a new symbol today that isn't from any previous games as far as the interweb folks know. There are also eyes now behind the crack in the ice of the image. They're killing me with the slow reveal. I just want to know!

Ok here's a ponder.

Just had a great job interview for a teaching position. Not really a position I am crazy about , but I really liked the faculty and REALLY liked the principal. They still haven't gotten the ok to open the positions at my current job so I have no contract.... so should I take the job I am pretty sure the high school is going to offer, or should I stall in the hopes that they can give me a job here???
