Actually if Zoe showed up I'd be all manner of okay with that.

Now if she brought Lawrence Fishbourne with her then I'd worry a bit, I have a feeling that man would put up one hellacious fight.

"Oh hey, I got an idea. Instead of us hanging
around playing art critic till I get pinched by
the Man, how's about we move away from this
eerie-ass piece of work and get on with our
increasingly eerie-ass day, how's that?"

What time is it? Is it over yet? Do I get to break out into the Jayne song?

Well seeing as how it's after midnight in all US timezones I'm assuming that it could be over...

So start the Jayne songs, bang on trashcans and slam cardoors.

Yay!

Jayne!
The Man they call Jayne!

He robbed from the rich
and he gave to the poor.
Stood up to the man
and gave him what for.
Our love for him now
ain't hard to explain.
The hero of Canton
the man they call Jayne.

Our Jayne saw the mudders' backs breakin'.
He saw the mudders' lament.
And he saw the Magistrate takin'
every dollar and leavin' five cents.
So he said: "You can't do that to my people."
He said "You can't crush them under your heel."
So Jayne strapped on his hat
and in 5 seconds flat
stole everythin' Boss Higgins had to steal.

He robbed from the rich
and he gave to the poor.
Stood up to the man
and gave him what for.
Our love for him now
ain't hard to explain.
The hero of Canton
the man they call Jayne.

Now here is what separates heroes
from common folk like you and I.
The man they call Jayne
he turned 'round his plane
and let that money hit sky.

He dropped it onto our houses
he dropped it into our yards.
The man they called Jayne
he stole away our pain
and headed out for the stars!

(Here we go!)

He robbed from the rich
and he gave to the poor.
Stood up to the man
and gave him what for.
Our love for him now
ain't hard to explain.
The hero of Canton
the man they call Jayne

Woohooo! Way to go ya big sexy man ape! I hope AB feels mighty gratified.

True, but some people voted on the old thread late last night. On my way now to see what time they posted!

Everyone, here's the last 3 entries on the old thread:

Metropolis, May 9, 20:12, voted for both Wash and Jayne...I just asked him/her to pick one.

Weerwolf, May 9, 21:12, voted for Mal and Zoe

Sasja, well, I'm guessing May 10, since the post says 00:34, voted for Mal and Zoe.

Hmmm...I guess I have to take away Sasja's vote, since by my calculations, this person voted at 12:34AM on Monday. Let me know if I'm wrong in that regard.

Now, it is a tie between Jayne and Mal, UNLESS Metropolis votes for Jayne over Wash. Nobody pressure Metropolis, we'll just patiently wait for a reply on the old thread.

Oh, the anticipation! I'm not updating the tallies unitl this is resolved. I guess this shows that both Mal/Nathan and Jayne/Adam are winners regardless, since it's been a close race since day 1!

For the womenfolk, Kaylee is the clearcut winner, with 20 votes over Zoe's 15.

And another thing. Gunhand, no threatening Metropolis with physical force!

Okay, the Buffy voting thread is off and running, under the title "Let the Cast Reviewing Continue . . ." So go vote.

Hey, Elwoodmom, when you have your winners all decided, and we've done all three polls, we should have a championship match, and pit the winners from the individual series against each other. Could be fun. Thoughts?

Well, Elwoodmom, if you're stuck with a tie, you could always have a 24 hour runoff vote. One vote per person, Mal or Jayne.

That would be a great idea!
