Incredibly sad (and shocking) news... a lot of us around the office didn't want to believe it when we first heard...

Rest in peace, Stan. You'll be missed and you'll never hear "can we do it in CG" up in creature shop heaven...

It is the loss of a great talent.

Won't be the same without the man. Like someone said, we seem to be losin 'em in droves lately. One things for sure, we're gonna remember Stan. The man left a mark to be sure.

A true legend has passed.

My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.

And to the fans of this true legend I can only say that he will be sorely missed, but his work will live on.
