I couldn't resist posting this, since so many people disputed that a judge's offer for leniency in sentencing was not "coercion" in the last thread I participated in.

Not gonna argue, just tossing this out.

Everybody thought you were wrong last time. Scouring the internet for a completely different case doesn't make you "right." Get over it.

I didn't scour the internet for anything. I saw something interesting, which happened to remind me of an old conversation here. I thought I could make just ONE post without getting any nastiness flung at me, but that is too much to expect, isn't it?

Thanks for reminding me why I left RWED. This board has become a depository of spiteful contumelies and knee-jerk incivilities. What happened to graciousness or sportsmanship in debates? Why is there a need to automatically assume the worst of people you disagree with?

Shame on you, Fletch. Shame on you.

I respond to your track record. Had you posted this and just said "wow this is interesting" I might have looked on it differently but you didn't, you chose to link it to your rant over your criminal tax evader friend. You linked the subjects then get upset when I question your motivation for linking the subjects!!

I just find you funny.

Two thoughts off-hand: Okay, I lied - I don't even have one thought, except...we need to get Cheney in here. Dick Cheney would have an absolute "go F yourself" field day in the RWED.

It was almost like releasing him back into the wild when we got here!
