I'm a cat person, myself...
I was trying to get away from the delights of DIY. The kitchen is not only still unusable, but husband has run away for a stag weekend and left me in the middle of it.

Geeze... if I never have to see another stick again, it will be way too soon. Spent all day picking up sticks to dad could mow (and we've recently had a really bad storms- 100 mph winds, and some hail), and cutting up the really huge branches into little pieces so we can get them all burned, and I'm tired. I don't even want to watch those damn sticks burning, which tells you how serious this is.

Waaaah! The weekend is over! How did that happen? One minute it was Sunday morning an I was thinking about starting an essay, then a small bout of food poisoning and a long conversation with the toilet later and it's past my bedtime, nearly Monday morning , and no essay.
I'm not ready to start another week yet!
Sigh. Hope eveyone else's weekend went better than mine.
